Pale-leaved Mistletoe is endemic to Australia, occurring as widely scattered populations in inland areas of all mainland states except Victoria. Amyema maidenii subsp. maidenii has rounded leaves, and is distributed throughout inland portions of the range from the Gibson Desert to the western plains of NSW (north of Bourke) and Queensland.
