Moths of Victoria have provided a visual key to Hypobapta including fore and hindwing underwing photos entitled 'Geometridae-Geometrinae- Key Page 7/7 5 Hypobapta' accompanying Part 4. Looking at that key and this specimen I cannot distinguish between H. percomptaria and H. tachyhalotaria. The key suggests an underwing shot is necessary to distinguish those two species. Therefore I'm suggesting Hypobapta sp. (genus) as the identification for now.
