User's notes

A strange, leafless, spindly plant. Growing up through a shrub, it reminds me almost of lignum.

Choretum?

Don't think so? Doesn't seem to be Choretrum or Leptomeria, doesn't seem to be any recorded nearby (though records seem patchy out this way), and nearest recorded C. & L. species all seem to have a lot of ridges, whereas the stalks on this were very smooth. I think this is somewhat related, as I suspect that the plant was somewhat parisitic.
