It could be E. curvula, but I wouldn't be able to say what it is with much confidence. Could also be Eragrostis setifolia or E. falcata out that way.

I suspect it may be Solanum esuriale but there are a few similar looking species so not confident to identify further at this stage

Hey Matthew, they were noisy but not quite as noisy as sulphur crested cockatoos. I've got some good footage which I'll upload to YouTube once I get a chance.
